Last Post for the Year – #GratefulHeart

Surprised? You weren’t sure if I still had interest in the blogging biz, which for me involves keeping tabs on the dopest of shoes around? Well sweet heart, here I am. Missed me? I did you too! Yes I know I’ve been MIA for quite some time, but it’s all been in the interest of Chic-soles. So watch out; some very exciting changes are coming up real soon! 😀

Next year, which begins in a few hours time, is going to be fully packed – big plans to execute, great goals to accomplish, and I’m so excited and eager to unfold all the goodies which the year will bring with it.

I took out some time to draft my goals for the year, and although the process was pretty exhausting, it was worth the stress in the end. Its completion gave me a clear sense of direction on a step-by-step basis, on how to accomplish each goal. So even if you haven’t done the same, don’t worry; it’s not too late to begin. Here are sample categories to help you plan and organize your goals properly. An amazing friend sent it to me, and of course I used this exact template:

Categories:

• Spiritual Goals
• Financial Goals
• Family/Relationship Goals
• Developmental Goals
• Ministry Goals (the area in which God has called you to serve)
• Career Goals
• Physical/Health Goals

Under each category, you can also split each point into three:

1. Dreams (the end big picture)
2. Goals (specifics in the big picture)
3. Action Points (steps on how you intend to achieve those goals)

Putting this together would certainly take some hours of  sitting down, intense thinking and writing, but trust me; the results will be well worth the effort.

Now talking about gratitude, my deepest thanks is to God, who gave the idea for Chic-Soles, and the grace to execute and stay consistent on it. I certainly couldn’t have put together half of the write-ups on here without His divine guidance. Thank You Father.

And my second thanks goes to YOU my darling, for sticking by me since May 11th of this year when the blog started, till now, the 31st of December. It’s been quite a journey, but my success on it wouldn’t have been possible without your loyal readership and support. Thank you so much! 😀
